Attract Abundance with Feng Shui

From the Apprentice to Survivor; everyone wants it; Wealth and Prosperity.

So you’ve had time to identify what Wealth and Prosperity means to you. According to the Bagua you have the opportunity to identify where the Wealth and Prosperity gua is located in your home. If this area is missing in your home when you align the 4 corners of the bagua don’t despair there are remedies to rectify the loss, lack of or nonexistence of Wealth and Prosperity in your home, office, workspace., However; considerable consideration of enhancements is recommend when working with missing guas.

In identifying this gua within your home and assessing the visual and energetic state of the room can you see how the current condition is currently mirroring these life aspects? If you feel this is an area that you would like to enhance within your life, office, work space; there are a couple of very basic principles I will share with you. As you know the first step is to de-clutter this room, whether this gua lays in your bedroom, dinning, living room, kitchen or bathroom you should only display and show case items, pictures that you absolutely love and love you back.

The room this gua is located in depends on the type of artwork best suited to display, for instance if this area is in the bedroom it is not a Feng Shui recommendation to display a vision board of your 649 lotto tickets. Unless of course your image of Wealth and Prosperity is a bar code imprint on your assets…., perhaps this is good bedroom Feng Shui, just kidding.

Artwork is very gua specific so feel free to consult with me on appropriateness of art and photos before making that big purchase, often home owners already own the appropriate piece of art but have it hanging in a less than fortunate location.

Let’s start with color; as the bagua indicates the resonating colors are the colors associated with royalty. You guessed it, purples, reds, royal blues, gold and silver. This is not to say you need to paint the entire room any one of these colors. This is to say that any one of these colors can become a powerful enhancement when brought to life in an accessory such as accent pillows, throws, table runners, my favourite of which are pashminas and saris. The colors and designs make fabulous throws and table runners. If you sew, the heavier quality ones can be used to make accent pillows. Color can also be introduced in lamp bases, chairs, sofas, mirrors, sculptures, pottery, glass wear and fresh colourful flowers. It is also used to represent the five elements of fire, earth, metal, water and wood, the balance of the 5 elements is key to creating harmony in all spaces.

My favourite accessories are gemstones, (a metal element), clear quartz crystal, amethyst, citrine and aventurine. In ancient times it is said that merchants kept a citrine in their cash drawer to encourage great wealth and prosperity coining citrine as the “merchant’s stone.” Gem stones are powerful Feng Shui remedies. If you’re shaking your head thinking I’m off my rocker; let me remind you that there are many powerful uses of quartz crystals, from computer components, circuit boards, glass, jewellery to watches, just to name a few. Creating a beautiful focal point of these precious items brings the power of intention to the fore front of your mind and sets the stage for balance of both your inner and outer worlds.

In all parts of the world water is a symbol of wealth, water front properties come with a higher price point than those without. In Feng Shui water is also used as a symbol to stimulate the flow of wealth and prosperity. Enhancements range from photos, paintings, indoor and outdoor water features, fish bowls, to large fish tanks. Much like artwork however, careful consideration as to what room this gua resides in governs the use of a water feature.

Since we are inspiring transformation of the wealth and prosperity gua of our home it is a good time to mention that it is excellent Feng Shui to keep all toilet lids down and all sink drains closed when not in use. Why you ask, because water is associated with wealth and drains of all kind when left open are thought to drain our finances. You know the saying, “money down the drain.” Now this gua resonates to an attitude of gratitude so it is very important that you discard that broken record of I….I….I….don’t….don’t….have. I….I….I….can’t….. and apply some NLP Neurolinguistics Programming in affirmations. The dictionary definition of affirmation is something declared to be true”.

Such as;

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE FABULOUS WEALTH AND PROSPERTIY I ENJOY IN ALL ASPECTS OF MY LIFE.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE EASE OF FINANCIAL WEALTH AND ABUNDANCE THAT CONTINUES TO FLOW IN MY LIFE AND MY CAREER.

I AM GRATEFUL TO LOVE WHAT I DO, AND DO WHAT I LOVE WHILE RECEIVING RECOGNITION FOR THE GIG!

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE MANY FABULOUS FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT I CELEBRATE THIS LIFE WITH.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR ………….. YOU NAME IT YOU CLAIM IT!

The power of the word is amazing; think about the emotions and memories that your favourite song can induce within you. Think about your favourite book or poetry and how in doing so your mood and demeanor shifts. Now become aware of your body language and emotions when you play that old, “can’t,” record. Not so good. Now play the attitude of gratitude CD. The one you just made up. Feeling lighter, a bit brighter, wearing a smile now? Keep that attitude of gratitude.

Feel the resonance, that’s what your affirmation will do. It will start a resonance within you that will send a ripple effect throughout your life and your space that creates the manifestation of inner and outer Feng Shui. “I am grateful to have the opportunity of choice and I choose to……” Write it down, on a crisp clean white sheet of paper. Use a red pen, sharpie pen, why red because in Chinese custom red is a power color, is a lucky color, is a color of fortune. Fold this affirmation in half or quarters and place it in a treasure chest of wonder or under the most beautiful enhancement you’ve placed in this room/gua, so every time you set eyes on that enhancement your beingness will tune in and turn on.

Write another, perhaps one of the same, keep it in your pocket, your journal, on your mirror so when you’re busy getting caught in that old record you can tune in and turn off the old. Remember the definition of clutter, mental clutter is the same; not recommended for good Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is muli-layered; while the above are Feng Shui enhancements for the Wealth and Prosperity gua they are not conclusive. The application and use of enhancements are vast, the balance of the 5 elements, yin and yang are key, the ease of Chi flow vital, inner and outer Feng Shui entwined, the art of placement amazing and the transformation empowering. Your home, office, work place is your ultimate vision board. Start creating a clear picture. Have fun this is only the beginning.
