(Feng Shui 101 ) Don’t fix what ain’t broken. No fear Shui here. Myth Buster
Too many accent pillows on a sofa or chair although pretty can take up too much room while sending subconscious messages to the universe that there’s not enough room in the inn.
Yes, these are 5 of 6 pillows that reside on our sofa that in this photo are stacked in an occasional chair as my hubby has a 5 minute power nap on the sofa.
Yes, I’ve broken the “fear Shui” rules”.
1. Warm and inviting is our Feng Shui design mood.
Layered textiles achieve our intentions.
2. How often do we entertain?
Once a week. Every Sunday we have family dinner, where all our family is invited.
3. How often do you use the living room?
Every evening.
4. Does everyone have a seat?
Yes, with room for more.
I simply toss the extra cushions in a basket or the bench in the foyer before everyone arrives.
Instead of believing the abundance of accent cushions are a subtitle for family and friends. I view them as placeholders showing the universe just how much room we do have and how inviting, warm and cozy our hearts and home are.
There will always be a place for family and friends to cozy up with a cuppa over laughter and heartfelt conversations.
