5 Feng Shui Tips on How to Choose the Best Mattress Foundation for Better Sleep
A good night’s sleep is something to be cherished. When you sleep good life is a whole lot easier.
Your bed is one of the most important pieces of furniture that you will ever purchase as it provides your body, soul and spirit vital time to rest, rejuvenation and re-connection. We often take the time to purchase mattresses that are budget friendly and that feel just perfect according to price point. Rarely do we give much thought about how the frame has an impact on our well-being while we choose the least costly. From a Feng Shui perspective the frame of a bed is important to creating a most beneficial foundation for one’s health and well-being.
Feng Shui tips on choosing a most beneficial bed frame
1. Whenever possible choose a wood frame over metal as metal conducts non-beneficial EMFS (electromagnetic frequencies) that have the potential to disrupt our personal electromagnetic fields causing unnecessary aches and pains.
2. There is no need to panic if you have a metal frame as the effects can be minimized by adding some wooden slats as noted below. The wood slats will provide a more stable foundation.
3. Whenever possible choose a wooden bed frame as wood absorbs emfs and is more natural and comforting to our bodies.
4. Narrow wooden slats can create sha chi (sharp energy) and may create energetic impressions on both our energy fields as well as our physical bodies in correlation to where the slats align causing physical pain and discomfort. A flat red sheet placed over the slats directly beneath the mattress is a transcendental remedy to neutralize the non-beneficial effects of the slats.
5. King Size beds are unique as they have two box springs supporting the single mattress which energetically creates a dividing line between the couples/partners. This energetic divide can often be seen in the dynamics of the relationship and how they interact with one another, which on the surface could appear as though there is an emotional distance or detachment between the couples/partners. To neutralize the dividing line it is often recommended to use the red sheet transcendental remedy. I often suggest clients purchase a fitted King sheet or a flat Queen to place over both the box springs so that is lays between the box spring and mattress energetically erasing the dividing line and bring the box springs together as well as the couple/partners.
Sleep easy, fully and more restfully with the assistance of a Feng Shui savvy bed-frame.
